Northern Forest H20 Beam Karelia Premium is a product of higher quality than H20 beams produced by European manufacturers. We use spruce grown in Northern Karelia (Nordic wood). This type of wood is much stronger than spruce growing in European countries used for the production of European beams. The logs we use for sawing do not exceed 16 cm in diameter. It's the top part of the spruce tree where knots are small and alive. The beam does not split at places with small knots. Large knots on the beam are its weak point when pressure is applied. By using thin logs, we manage avoid large knots. to Karelia Group Our company carries out a complete production cycle using modern equipment and high-quality materials. These materials meet all requirements of the European standard EN13377:2002, ensuring high final product quality. The load-bearing function of the beam is performed by a wood block. We manufacture the entire process of making this wood, including log sawing, drying, calibration, planing, gluing, and finishing treatment. Thus, we control the process at all stages and can guarantee the quality of the finished product. At our facility, there is an in-house quality laboratory with a unique test stand for testing the strength of the beam.
